I successfully completed Inktober in 2019 and took part in it’s weekly cousin, 52, and now have invented my own version, #MynkTober which is independent of Inktober and it’s corporate aspirations! I tend to do bigger pieces for these, and there’s a lot of overlap between my own daily challenge and the Quill, Ink and Dip-pen gallery.
It is well worth checking out the individual posts as they contain making-of videos and further information about the pieces.
And although I didn’t take part in 2021, I took part in ‘Abstract Advent’ in December of that year, lead by @artpedagogy he gives us a shape from the 1st of December til Christmas Eve, and I like it because you can use any media and the visual prompts provide different inspiration.
