I’ve recently started exploring oil painting, en plein air and portraits. These are just the final pieces, you can find work in progress, underpainting shots and more info here. My inspirations are rather obviously Van Gogh, fauvists and impressionists, as well as the action painters. I’ve been exploring using Liquin to speed up drying and also for impasto effects, and Griffin Alkyd paints for underpainting and grisaille and verdaccio effects.
