The first pages of the Skratchbook are quite chaotic and I hesitated to post them until I’d posted things to show yes I can draw and this madness is intentional!
A lot of collage, but the mad ‘DNA – ACT-G’ drawing is the source of all my current abstract drawings and paintings at the moment, it’s like in one moment I laid down a blueprint for that series.. There is a lot of detail – so I encourage you to use the zoom in function….many layers, as always. And yes I do own some scissors 😉
I really need to find a way to collage without air bubbles though…yes I know spray mount and Pritt-stick are some of the cleaner ways, but they also fall off after a few years….PVA might be messy like this, but they’ll stick for a long time! Rather than fall off in a confusing jumble after a few years.
