I stopped life drawing during my art degree around 25-27 years ago. I felt that digital work would be more important in the future and that ‘dead tree’ media would disappear.

A long way to go, but I found at the end I got into the swing and was getting some of the mojo back after some frustrating drawings – these are classic 5 minute sessions, mixed with 20 minute sessions, some of which I did 2 or 3 drawings within. I think the last (featured at the top) is the most successful – I also did a pencil sketch of the same pose:
