Lifedrawing sessions have ended for 2018, it’s been a wild 4 months so far – and it’s good to end on probably the best session I’ve done in the last month or so – with Peter, who also liked my work which is always good.
I had joked* that I wanted a ‘Naked Santa’ in the previous session, and almost got my wish 😉 A rather anguished ‘I lost all my presents and my clothes’ Santa, but still good.
Rather proud of the watercolour and pen piece above, and the hard pastel drawings continue to deliver, especially here I was focusing on the blue/green veins and shadows I could see.
Also continuing with graphite and the Neocolor water crayons which are a lot of fun although hard to get something that doesn’t resemble something like a riot at a kid’s party! I like that chaotic feel, though.
*Not completely joking, if someone did Santa Life drawing I’d be SO there. Erryday!
