Jumping through hoops? The life model (Ash) brought her hoop with her, and it was a lot of fun going around in circles, looping the loop and well, hooping the hoop.
Did a nice A2 brush and ink piece (with some added tippex pen) seen above, and a few nice watercolours. Drawing the gestures and hoop was hard in 5 minutes, and even tricky in 20 minutes.
Unusually for me I did a few charcoal drawings, the first here using my new ‘light’ compressed charcoal which is a nice mid-grey colour. I also did a rather erotic (?) watercolour stick and pen sketch, rather loose but I like the background in this one, the blanket on the floor, the vibrant colours. Really the sticks can be very hit and miss…
