RC 286, Digital Collage

Digital, don’t ever fade away

Of course I never really ‘stopped’ – I’ve been creating digital collages, photographs, web designs, doodles and the odd bit of painting since I left art school. A good example is the cover art I create for Radio Clash podcast every few weeks. Sometimes it’s a photo, sometimes it’s found art or riffing off an existing design. And sometimes it’s quite artistic collage of my photos or what I called ‘Google collage’ where I used image search to create a mashup montage of the many random things that pop up from a search term.

More of those later – but for now, here’s #286 which all those photos from my garden got turned into an audiogram video, #283 with some Rubik’s Cube radioactive nightmare from various public domain images, and #289 is Soviet style design created from scratch, and #287 looks like a normal shot of Mogwai playing that I took, but is actually a composite of several shots.
