Another life drawing session, this time with an older woman with a headband. I did some good watercolours – I seem to be making a habit of back studies in watercolour and I think the skin tone works here. But as usual I was more interested in the fabric of the jumper she was sitting on – really need to do some fabric still life studies!
Also a nice graphite 5 minute drawing and return of the dip pen! The face is wrong but I like the rest, and I think it works with studies of older people like this (although of course I dropped some ink blots onto it – always a hazard hence why I tend to prefer the pigment liners).
Not a great session, but not the worst?
