This was a good session for what I’m currently calling the Dark Series – working with inks on black gesso. Hugh is a regular at the sessions and also a regular on this blog as a result, always welcome to see him and he’s very supportive of us struggling artists. There is a mix of sizes from A3 watercolour paper and nearly A1 wallpaper liner, and even one with mixed media with Woody Pencil. I’ve also included one of the 5 minute sketches which were also good, this time the trusty Derwent Blocks.
