Portraits At The Pub 54: Huss

And the last Portraits I’ve been to is this one, a few weeks ago with Huss. Less variety of media this time but quite a few I’m proud off, like this technical pen and wash piece, or the false colour watercolour and sgraffito. I like the very abstract ink piece as well which is just planes and lines. I know Huss, and thus it was hard to get a true likeness…but I got close in places. It’s like more you know someone, the harder it gets to draw or paint them realistically?

Great job! I’ve been reading your PATP series and really enjoyed it. Have done any more?
We haven’t got anything like that in Southend, only life drawing.
Is there a way to go through your blog post chronologically? Usually there are “newer entry” and “older entry” links but I couldn’t find them in your blog.
Again, loved all the paintings/drawings!
